New Landscape. New Pioneers. What’s your view?

Remarkably, it seems that the worst of the pandemic will soon be behind us. But things aren’t going back to where they used to be. The landscape is very different.

Whilst the threat to our health from COVID-19 is receding, the knock-on effects of the crisis on our economy and our communities are expected to be profound and long-lasting.

And alongside our local challenges, the whole country is battling it out to secure new inward investment and additional financial support from a Government already stretched to the limit.

If we’re to thrive in this tough climate, it’s critical Cumbrians pulls together with a common voice and shared intent.

The Community Data Cooperative was set up for exactly this purpose: to give communities a platform to get their collective concerns and priorities out there and listened to – by local and central government, by business leaders, by third sector organisations. So we can all help shape the big decisions and opportunities for Cumbria going forwards.

In partnership with Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster, we’re reaching out to people all across Cumbria to get their views. What does the post-Covid landscape look like? Where should Cumbria be pioneering?

If you’re a leader in your organisation CLICK HERE and please get involved.

There’s the opportunity to invite your staff to give their views too. Once you’ve given us your views we’ll send you an email invite and link you can use to ask them to get involved on an anonymous basis. You don’t have to do this of course but if you do you’ll benefit from a unique view of what your staff think vs the rest of Cumbria, which could be useful from a business planning perspective.

If you want to only give your views as an individual, please CLICK HERE

The reach-out runs through to end of January 2021 and we’ll share the results with everyone in the New Year.

Should be fascinating…
